Mary Jennifer's Story
Life
I graduated from Auburn in 1988 with a BA in Communications/Public Relations. I received my Master's Degree from Auburn in 1990 in the same field. After graduate school I worked in Montgomery for Pitney Bowes until December of 1991. I then moved to Orlando, Florida and worked as the Marketing Manager for The National Safety Council until May of 1999. At that time I went back to work for Pitney Bowes in Orlando. tney Bowes and moved back to Opelika, Alabama but worked out of my home through the Atlanta office. In October of 1999 I married Gerald Ryan, an Opelika native I met on a cruise in 1998. In January of 2000, I took a job as Executive Director of the American Red Cross Chapter for Lee County (Auburn/Opelika area).
In June of 2001 our son Austin Clark Ryan was born. We also have two other "babies", our dogs, Brandy (Golden Retriever) and Garth (Bulldog/boxer mix).
